What is Moon Garden?
Moon Garden is a cozy incremental game developed by Kairos Games LLC. You tend a tiny garden on the lunar surface, placing flowers inside garden pods and using the pollen they produce to fund bigger, better blooms. Little by little, a tree grows in the middle of the base — and your real goal is to make that tree tall enough to carry you back home.
Pachinko Seed Machine
Pull new seeds from a gacha-style vending machine with layered rarity odds that shape which flowers you can grow.
Mulch Prestige
Reset your tree into mulch for permanent stardust — every new run grows faster and climbs closer to the escape.
Robot Automation
Deploy little robots and satellites so harvesting, tasks and production quietly run themselves while you idle.
A Cozy Journey Home
Charming pixel art, a gentle soundtrack and a hopeful story about tending a garden on the moon and heading home.
Beneath the wholesome shell sits a satisfying idle loop: spend stardust on permanent upgrades, pull new seed types from a pachinko vending machine, and dispatch little robots so the garden basically runs itself. When your tree tops out, you can mulch it, restart with bonus stardust, and aim for an even taller escape.

Moon Garden FAQ
What is the core loop of Moon Garden?+
You plant flowers in garden pods, collect the pollen they produce, spend pollen on new seeds and pod unlocks, and use stardust from mulch prestige to buy permanent upgrades. Everything funnels into one goal: make the central tree grow tall enough to blast off the moon. Most players finish a full run in a few relaxed hours.
How do flower synergies work?+
Neighboring blooms can boost each other inside your garden pods, which is why arrangement matters more than raw pollen stats. Pairing flowers that share a synergy type, keeping same-rarity blooms together, and placing production-heavy flowers near automation upgrades all increase your pollen per second. A thoughtful layout can double or triple a scattered setup.
Is the pachinko seed machine worth spending pollen on?+
Yes — the pachinko vending machine is the only reliable source of new seed tiers, and higher tiers unlock stronger flowers. The odds are weighted, so early on you want cheap consistent pulls to fill pods before saving for premium draws. Save pulls when you still need a specific slot to fill, and reroll when the current pool will not help your layout.
What is stardust and should I save it?+
Stardust is the permanent currency that survives mulch resets, so it is the most precious resource in the game. Core pollen multipliers and pod unlocks give the best early return, efficiency boosts are worth it once your loop is stable, and late-game quality-of-life upgrades should wait. Unless you are very close to a milestone, spend stardust rather than hoarding it.
When should I build robots and satellites?+
Robots remove the busywork around harvesting, research and production, so build them as soon as you can afford the stardust without delaying core multipliers. Satellites expand what your base tracks and produces, and they are required for the Eyes in the Sky achievement. A good rule is to automate a task when you regularly forget to do it manually.
When is the best time to mulch my tree?+
Mulch your tree once it reaches its current maximum height — doing it early wastes growth, and waiting past the cap delays the permanent stardust you need for upgrades. After mulching, immediately reinvest the stardust into permanent upgrades before starting the next growth cycle. Repeat until the tree towers high enough to escape for good.
How do I avoid softlocking achievements?+
A few achievement-focused players reported getting stuck when they spent pollen on the wrong flowers early. To stay safe, unlock flowers in a sensible order, keep at least one production-focused flower in a pod at all times, and do not mulch before checking your remaining achievements. The 50,000 pollen milestone just needs steady passive income, so automation is your best friend.
